Oktober Fest-Marzen Brauerei Ayinger Aying, Germany
RATING: 93 Points ABV: 5.8% $10.99/4-Pack Bottles
Long considered one of the finest Oktoberfests in existence, brewed by one of the most respected breweries on Earth. This year they did us all a solid and put it into far more convenient 4 packs. Easily my favorite Oktoberfest and everything you would want from the style.

Stateside Saison Stillwater Artisanal Stratford, Connecticut
RATING: 96 Points ABV: 6.8% $8.99/4-Pack 16 oz Cans
This decidedly American twist on a classic Belgian style of beer derives its unique lemony edge and aroma from plenty of Galaxy hops. Expect hay, grass, clove and loads of citrus fruit. One of my absolute favorite saisons.

Oktoberfest Great Lakes Brewing Company Cleveland, Ohio
RATING: 100 Points ABV: 6.5% $8.99/6-Pack Bottles
This is one of my all time favorites Marzen-style beers and one of the beers that got me into craft beer in general. An easy drinking, well balanced fall beer, it’s smooth and sweet with a touch of Noble hops. A great recreation of this style. Pairs very well with soft pretzels and beer cheese. Pumking Pumpkin Ale Southern Tier Brewing Company Lakewood, New York
You down with the King? The Pumking is back and better than ever! So this has not always been my favorite pumpkin beer, but with the loss of my personal favorite, Southern Tier stepped right up an added yams to this brew, gaining at least one more big fan in the process. The taste didn’t change that much, but with the addition of the yams it has become smoother and more pumpkin pie like. Drink by the fire with friends this fall. Pairs well with dark chocolate and toffee. Recommended by: Ferdinand, Fairfield Location: American Craft
