Sun Crusher Hoppy Wheat Ale Revolution Brewing Company Chicago, Illinois
ABV: 5.3% IBU: 25 PRICE: $9.99 6-pack Cans
Hoppy Wheat Ale sounds like summer to me. Day drinking, pool drinking, cabrewing, camping, yard work and kids parties - all things that come to mind when I hear “hoppy wheat ale,” and this might be my new favorite one. Revolution has out done themselves with Sun Crusher. It’s just hoppy enough to please the hophead, but not so hoppy that others won’t be able to drink it. Balance is key when making a beer like this, and Revolution got it right. My wife loves it, and she does not like hoppy beers. Sun Crusher pairs well with sweet corn and long summer days.

Rekorderlig Ciders Vimmerby, Sweden
ABV: 4.0% IBU: N/A PRICE: $8.99 4-pack Cans
Rekorderlig ciders are pear based instead of apple based, and are brewed with the purest spring water from Vimmerby, Sweden. These ciders are sweet, but very clean and easy to drink. I first tried them at a beer trade show, fell in love, and had to have them in Jungle Jim’s. We now carry Pear Premium, Strawberry-Lime and Wildberry, my personal favorite. These ciders will stand on their own or can be used as a mixer for some of your favorite clear liquors. Pairs well with outdoor fun in the sun.
