With a base consisting of it’s namesake, the hotter-than-a-jalapeno piquin pepper, these sauces aim for both heat and taste, but allow the heat to take a backseat to highlight all of the delicious flavors to be found in the sauce. Already slightly smoky, sweet, and fruity, these peppers lend themselves well to Don Victor’s signature blends, where only mild additions are made to help round out each the 3 piquin sauces they produce.
Green Piquin - milder in heat, but no slouch in the flavor department, this sauce is created using immature piquin peppers. It’s still bold and aromatic, but offers the chance to keep it flavorful more than hot (which, as you know, I’m a big fan of).
Extra Hot Piquin - Want to turn things up to 11? This is the sauce for you. Heat is the focus, but flavor’s not far behind. This will light up your chicken wings, tacos, and enchiladas, and transform your pizza into something truly wild.
Red Piquin - Dry, smoky heat is front and center in this “bright and merry” sauce. We suggest trying this one on burgers, hot dogs and sausages, and fried potatoes. If you want to kickstart your morning, a few drops on your eggs will put a smile on your face.
