Originally developed in the 30s by Philip Silvershein, the Chunky Bar used to be made with cashews, but the recipe has evolved and now uses peanuts (in addition to chocolate and raisins). Silvershein was friends with William Wrigley Jr. (of Wrigley Gum), who distributed his bar until Nestle bought it in 1984.
Lemonheads were first introduced in 1962 by the Ferrara Candy Company. They are round lemon flavored candy that has a sweet coating, soft sour shell, and a hard candy core. Ferrara also makes Grapeheads, Cherryheads, and Appleheads, which are the same candy, just different flavors. Today you can find them in chewy versions, as well! Ferrara makes over 500 million Lemonheads a year!
Originally introduced in 1966, these little gems came in Blaze'N Blueberry, Gushin' Grape, Luscious Lemon, Razzle Raspberry, and Tangerine Orange. They’re candy, but once you chew them the mix transforms into gum.
Runk Marshmallow Cone
These light and fluffy marshmallow treats have been made right here in Cincinnati since 1936! They’re crispy cones filled with a marshmallow whip that is sure to please.
