It’s Friday, so you know what that means: Pint Night at Jungle Jim’s!
Fairfield - Alltech Brewing Co.
You may know Alltech for their famous Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, which you can find right here at the Jungle. While Kentucky Bourbon Barrel is their most popular beer, don’t let that deter you from trying their other offerings, such as their Bourbon Barrel Stout, IPA, Kentucky Kolsch and their new Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale!
Alltech Brewing Company History
“In the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, is Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co., a unique stop on the world-famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail® experience and one of only a handful of joint brewing and distilling operations in the world.
The site is home to Town Branch Distillery and our brewery, which produces the Kentucky Ale® family of beers. It is the oldest craft brewery in Lexington. Alltech founder and president Dr. Pearse Lyons acquired the 200-year-old Lexington Brewing Company in 1999 and resurrected the Lexington brewing and distilling tradition that dates back to 1794.”
Tonight in Fairfield we will be featuring the following beers: Kentucky Blackberry Porter, Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale, Kentucky White Ale, Break In the Law Imperial Stout and of course Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale!
Eastgate - Old Firehouse Brewery
Old Firehouse is a local Cincinnati favorite! It’s located East of Cincinnati in Williamsburg, OH, and is housed in an old firehouse, hence the name. You may recognize their Code 3 Red Ale, Flashpoint IPA and Pin Up Girl Blonde in cans around town.
Old Firehouse Story
“The dream all began 2012 while microbrewery hopping in Asheville, North Carolina. The Wife and I were sitting at dinner enjoying some fabulous craft beer and when she made the ultimate statement to me: "You know, for as much as you love craft beer, you should make it for a living." Thus the mission of the Old Firehouse Brewery was found: To passionately brew fresh, hand-crafted beer by using only the finest ingredients possible. Our motto is great beer, great friends and great fun.
One other motto was born that day in Asheville, as well. Not only did we believe in "drink local,” we wanted to "stay and think local" and grow our own community. After figuring out how to bring our dream to reality, we then began the hunt for the right place to open the brewery in our community. With the help from some great friends, we soon found the "Old Firehouse" in our town and opened our doors as Old Firehouse Brewery in September 2014.”
Tonight in Eastgate we will be featuring the following beers: Pin Up Girl, Code 3, Chief Vanilla Porter, Pele's Flash, and Hot Mama Pin Up Girl!
